PLANTING MODELS
The patterns of planting design.
PLANTING MODELS are a great way to start conceptualizing patterns for the layout of a planting bed before jumping into the details of plant selection. Rather than placing plants individually, think about them as areas or blocks of plants. Do you want to place them in informal drifts, perfect rows, or a randomized pattern? These choices might depend on an aesthetic style or ecological approach or perhaps both.
