THE LOVE OF GARDEN DESIGN 

Do you dream about creating outdoor spaces with cozy furniture overflowing plants, and lovely details? This spark started in my soul as a child and it led me to earn my landscape architecture degree, practice design, then finally teach it to fabulous college students for over ten years. I know we all don't have the luxury to go back to school to get a degree, so I strive to help as many people as possible learn about this beautiful profession and build their confidence...so they can also create amazing outdoor spaces. If you're dreaming about taking that next step, I'd love to have you join our community via one of our classes.

My classes and membership focus on both landscape graphics and garden design for those starting out in this profession (though we have many experienced designers in our community too!). You have the option to dip your toe or jump in full force. We are super busy this fall with a full slate of options. DRAWING DEMOS: ONE-POINT PERSPECTIVE

These 60 minute-ish live sessions includes me drawing a design in either plan view, elevation or perspective...so you can see my process and ask questions along the way. For our first adventure into drawing I'll show you how I tackle a simple one-point perspective drawing. Our first session will take place Thursday, September 12 at noon US central time. This live session is $25. You're welcome to SIGN UP HERE.

GARDEN DESIGN COLLECTIVE

This is our monthly membership where we focus on learning a new design topic each month, plus have an awesome community of designers around the world. This is a great place to learn, share, ask questions and discuss anything related to design.

If you are starting out in design and need a place for support or perhaps have been practicing for a few years and are looking to deep dive into design topics a bit more…we’d love to have you join us. 

Fall enrollment is open September 17-26, 2024. You're welcome to join the WAITING LIST or look for updates in this newsletter. This membership opens twice a year in March and September. The monthly price (as of Fall 2024) is $75/month or $750/year.

DRAFTING SUPPLY CLUB

This class focuses on the supplies you'll need to hand-draw your designs...everything from drafting tables to markers, plus help you find all of these goodies so you can stock up. This is a great prelude to Garden Graphics Tool Kit (see below), but not required. Three live sessions (all within the same week) are included to demonstrate tools and answer your questions. These will also be recorded, so you can watch them anytime. The live sessions will take place at noon US central time on November 5, 7, and 8. This year the price is $65.  We'll keep you updated via this newsletter or you can sign up on the WAITING LIST.

GARDEN GRAPHICS TOOL KIT

This is our 8-week drawing course where we teach you everything from line weights to quick perspectives. Note that this course is geared towards beginners. Our activities build up from simple to more detailed as we move through the course. You'll be amazed at your progress by the end of two months.

Carve time out for this one if you want results. We work hard, but have lots of fun. GGTK opens once a year in mid-January.
